I'm gone to Chicago until Sunday to see Taking Back Sunday and to get the hell out of this place.

I hate the adjective "cute." Cute means that you are not ugly enough to be considered ugly, but you aren't pretty enough to be considered so.

Honestly, who gets engaged at 21...

I got my new camera today: a Sony Cyber-shot with 6 megapixels. I also got some rechargeable batteries, so that's sweet. I took some pictures to see what the quality is like, and here are the results:

Birthday on Wednesday, bitches. 17. I'm young, I just realized. I'm going shopping for a new digital camera tomorrow. Some people are coming over Wednesday night, after I go to Hunanes for dinner. School has been really hectic lately - last week was MEAPs and a huge research paper, today was NHS interview, and at the end of this week is fucking ACTs and a Geometry quiz. My birthday is in the middle of it all. Friday I have volleyball practice from 7-9, and then Saturday from 3:30 to fucking 9. How ridiculous is that. It's a waste of my Saturday. But hopefully when I get home Saturday night I can have some fun and get rid of the stress of this past week. So whatev.

To put it lightly, I'm going to have another shitty birthday this year. It's right in the middle of the biggest week of my Junior year. Check it out:
April 3rd and 4th: National Honors Society interviews.
April 5th: My 17th birthday
6th and 7th: fucking ACTs.
8th and 9th: Articatz tournament in Duluth.

I will not sleep/relax at all that week, and I'll be stressing out horribly for everything that my stomach will be in knots leaving me with no appetite whatsoever. I'm even stressing out right now, and that stuff is still a few weeks away.

I know most of you don't want to hear this, but I really don't care. The MCS/Spill Canvas/OK GO/Plain White T's concert was honestly amazing. I was right in the front, and even though I got murdered a lot and was dehydrated, it was still awesome. I was a little upset with The Spill Canvas' lineup. They played about... 5 songs, and only one of them was one I wanted to hear, and they didn't play my favorite one. But I'm still really glad I got to see them. I was really impressed with OK GO and Plain White T's, because I didn't think I'd like them, but they sound really good. And I met a boy - he was cute. Then.. MCS came on. And it was absolutely...I don't even know how to describe it. They played a lot of songs I wanted to hear, and I rocked out. I think this concert was better than when I went to see FOB. Really, I think it was. After, I got an autograph from the Spill Canvas and and autograph and a picture with MCS, and bought a t-shirt. Tonight was the PERFECT ending to my week from hell.

Let me ask you this. If you were at a dance where one of your boy friends that you have a slight crush on was hanging all over you and standing really close to you and being extra nice, would you think he liked you too? Well, that's what I thought, until the end of the dance when he basically blew me off and told me that he didn't want a relationship with me. Now, what am I supposed to think? Am I supposed to laugh it off and forget about it? I don't think so.


I love being led on. It's my favorite feeling in the world.
